About Me

Hello! I’m Roderick and I am an English major currently attending the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. As an English major, I have a passion for creating stories as well as critiquing and editing works so that I may improve upon my abilities as a writer and editor in the field. Before discovering my passion as a writer, I began my college career as a Computer Science major. Because of this experience, I have developed a variety of skillsets alongside the ability to write and edit at a high level. I also have the ability to code in Java and C++ at an entry level, as well as having earned certifications in Microsoft office training (including Word and Excel). Because of my familiarity with software coding and development, I’m seeking an entry level position as a technical writer/editor in the technological field.
